FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Does it hurt?

You may feel a little sensation. But the pain is minimal. The needles are as thin as human hair.  In fact, it is so relaxing that many of our patients fall asleep during treatment.

 

Where do you needle?

Primarily on your lower legs, feet,

arms, hands, head and ears.

How long are treatment sessions?

New visits typically last between 45-60 minutes. Return visits are typically 45 minutes.

 

Is insurance accepted?

We accept some insurance for acupuncture.  Please call the front office and they can verify your coverage.

 

What about clothing?

We primarily treat areas on the body that do not require the removal of clothing. Please wear loose fitting clothing.

WHAT DO WE TREAT?

Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can treat most chronic problems and non-emergency acute problems that western medicine can treat.  It is often more effective and always safer.
